41-year-old Amal Clooney interrupted her Italian vacation and returned to work. A few days ago she flew to London to take part in the Global Press Freedom Conference. At the event, speakers from different countries shared their experiences and suggestions on the stated topic. George Clooney’s spouse also spoke at the conference with her speech.
In public, Amal appeared today in a snow-white jumpsuit, which she supplemented with a thin black belt at the waist and suede gray boats. First, the human rights activist read out the report and made its proposals, and then other participants in the conference also went up to the stage and began to exchange experiences with Clooney.
The day before, Amal had also made a report at the conference. Then the lawyer went up to the stage in a set of scarlet things: she was wearing a fitting dress just below the knee and a shortened Zac Posen jacket.
Interestingly, in the light of the speeches of Amal Clooney at the conference, information appeared in the press that in 2013 she had advised the journalist and founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange on how to avoid arrest in the UK. From the documents that fell into the hands of journalists, it follows that Amal advised Assange to ask the Ecuadorian government for a diplomatic post to obtain diplomatic immunity. Clooney was convinced that such a ploy would help Julian to leave the UK without risks.
Now the world media is discussing that the information that has emerged during the conference may upset British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt, who in April of this year appointed her special envoy on media freedom.
